What it is, and why it behaves this way
Titanium develops an oxide surface that helps resist corrosion. Pure titanium differs from titanium alloys. A titanium marking may describe only some parts, not every screw, joint or nose-pad support.
Weight in context
Can support light metal designs, but is not guaranteed to beat every plastic frame.
Flexibility & adjustment
Adjustability depends on sections and joints. Ordinary titanium is not an unlimited memory spring.
What to check when trying on
Ask which contact parts are titanium and check nose-pad pressure and temple length.
Care & limitations
Avoid repeated bending or home soldering. Broken joints need a suitable repair or replacement plan.

Example: titanium rims with other-metal screws do not prove that the whole pair is nickel-free.
