ABDO identifies polycarbonate and Trivex as options when greater impact resistance is needed. That makes them worth discussing for relevant sports or safety applications. A material name alone does not establish that an ordinary fashion frame is suitable protective eyewear.
Compare the complete specification
Ask for the available prescription range, finished weight, coating and frame compatibility for each option. Our suggested comparison uses the same frame and prescription for both quotes. Otherwise a difference in frame size can be mistaken for a difference caused entirely by material.
Include what you noticed before
